Hospital Doors: Hygienic, Quiet, Fire-Safe & Durable
product description
Customizable Core for Versatile Protection: Customers have the option to choose between high - strength honeycomb paper or fire - resistant rock wool for the door core. High - strength honeycomb paper, inspired by the natural structure of beehives, offers remarkable strength - to - weight ratio. It is not only lightweight but also provides excellent shock absorption and sound insulation. Some hospitals in the UK have chosen the honeycomb - filled doors for their general wards, finding that they effectively reduce noise from adjacent areas, creating a more peaceful environment for patients. On the other hand, fire - resistant rock wool is an ideal choice for areas with higher fire safety requirements, such as hospital storage areas for flammable materials.
Durable Hardware for Hassle - Free Operation: All handles and hardware are crafted from high - strength stainless steel. Stainless steel is renowned for its durability and rust - resistance properties. In a large hospital in California, after years of continuous use with thousands of daily door openings and closings, the stainless - steel hardware on our doors has never malfunctioned. It can withstand the frequent use in a busy hospital setting, ensuring that the door locksets remain intact and free from rust, which is crucial for maintaining the security and functionality of the doors.
International Standard Compliance: Our products have passed both CE and UL certifications. CE certification indicates that our doors meet the essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements of the European Union. UL certification, on the other hand, is recognized globally for its strict safety and quality standards. This dual certification assures hospitals around the world that our doors adhere to the highest international standards, providing peace of mind for facility managers and medical staff.
Optimal Sealing for Energy Efficiency: The door leaves are fully sealed with weatherstripping. This not only prevents air leakage but also helps in maintaining a stable indoor temperature. For instance, in a hospital in northern Canada, the installation of our doors with effective weatherstripping has significantly reduced the energy consumption for heating during the cold winter months. By keeping the warm air inside the building, it creates a more comfortable environment for patients and staff while also cutting down on energy costs.
Sturdy Hospital Door Structures: Built to Withstand Heavy Use
Our hospital doors are engineered with exceptional structural integrity to handle the high-traffic demands of medical facilities. The door frames are constructed from 1.2MM galvanized steel, while the door leaves use 0.8MM galvanized steel—materials chosen for their strength, corrosion resistance, and ability to resist warping even with constant opening and closing. Inside, customers can select between high-strength honeycomb paper or fire-resistant rock wool as core fillers, both of which enhance stability and impact resistance. This robust design ensures the doors remain reliable in busy corridors, patient rooms, and emergency areas, where frequent use and occasional collisions are common. For example, at a large urban hospital in Australia, our doors have maintained their structural integrity for over 10 years, despite daily use by staff, patients, and medical equipment.
CE & UL-Certified Hospital Door Hardware: Durable, Corrosion-Resistant
The hardware of our hospital doors is rigorously tested and certified to meet international standards, holding both CE and UL certifications. All handles, hinges, and locksets are crafted from high-strength 304 stainless steel, a material renowned for its resistance to rust, corrosion, and wear—critical qualities in hospital environments where cleanliness and hygiene are paramount. This stainless steel hardware withstands frequent sanitization with harsh cleaning agents, ensuring it remains functional and visually intact over time. Whether it’s the daily operation of door handles by hundreds of people or the repeated opening and closing of doors by automated systems, the hardware maintains its smooth performance, reducing maintenance needs and downtime. A case study at a pediatric hospital in Germany showed that after 5 years of use, the stainless steel hardware on our doors showed no signs of rust or degradation, even in moisture-prone areas like patient bathrooms and treatment rooms.
